Who We Are

Rev. Dr. Leon Cymbaluk is married to Sarah and they have three children: Kayley, Ethan, and Kaiden. Pastor Leon has a science and education background as well as graduate degrees from Taylor Seminary and Columbia International University. From a farming background, he enjoys serving in a rural church as well as in an adjunct professor role at Prairie Bible Institute. He loves to live and laugh and will forever marvel at the incredible grace of God!

Our Mission

"For it is by grace you have been saved through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

Ephesians 2:8-10 NIV

This is a verse that says a lot about our mission; to be a church where the gospel is presented, understood, and lived out. A church in which the people know they are saved by grace through faith to do what God has in mind for us to do. A people that long for God to be at work in them and through them, for His glory.

Affiliation

Though we are an independent church, we recognize the importance of being a part of a larger body of believers. As such Zion Baptist Church is affiliated with the Alberta Baptist Association (ABA) and the North American Baptist Conference (NAB). You can link below to their respective websites.
